You should read this report that I just found today: http://www.heartcareassociates.info/neurosyn.html There are many reasons for fainting-heart/cardiovascular problems, carotid artery blockage, electro-physiological, arrythmia, seizures. You need a lot of tests to find out YOUR cause. These include echocardiogram, EEP, EP catheterization, carotid ultasound scan, treadmill stress test with isotope, and tilt table. I have been thru all of them. I only failed the tilt test after nitroglycerin was given to me to induce the adrenaline-associated fight/flight reponse. This means my cause IS vaso-vagal. Atenolol was prescribed (beta blocker) but I am wary of the side effects. Salt and hydration are important for sure. Good luck to you in finding a solution to your problem
